The MAP in our communities:

Historical agreement between the Sor Isolina Ferré Centers and the Luis A. Ferré Historical Archive Luis A. Ferré del Museo de Arte de Ponce. We are pleased to announce that the Centros Sor Isolina Ferré and the Luis A. Ferré Historical Archive of the Museo de Arte de Ponce have joined forces with the purpose of preserving and protecting the memory and legacy of Sor Isolina Ferré and her work for those most in need in the La Playa, en Ponce.

As part of the agreement between both institutions, a project will be carried out to digitize and organize the Historical Archive of Sor Isolina Ferré: Memories of La Playa de Ponce. This collaboration, which began in 2020, perpetuates the intention of Don Luis and Sister Isolina to work hand in hand for the well-being of the Ponce and Puerto Rican communities.

This legacy is stronger than ever today through the collaboration between both organizations, led by the brothers María Luisa Ferré Rangel, president of the Luis A. Ferré Foundation and the Museo de Arte de Ponce, and Luis Alberto Ferré Rangel, President of the Centros Sor Isolina Ferré. Today, the brothers María Luisa and Luis Alberto, just like Don Luis and Sister Isolina were, confirm their commitment to Puerto Rico and Ponce. !! Congratulations!!

Special visit

Today we had a very special visit from Centro de Aprendizaje de Transición of the Centros Sor Isolina Ferré. Program participants, including parents, social workers, and assistants, enjoyed a painting workshop inspired by works from the Puerto Rican and European collection of the Museo, as well as a guided tour of the exhibitions in our annex building. This activity was part of the alliance between both sister institutions, whose purpose is to join efforts to contribute to the well-being of the Puerto Rican community.
